Privacy Policy

Last updated September 19, 2026

This policy explains what Caza collects, why, and what we do not do with it. It covers the Caza web dashboard and mobile app.

The short version

We collect only what's needed to run your account and the map. We do not sell your data, share it with data brokers or advertisers, or use it to train AI models. We do not track you across other websites or apps, and Caza has no advertising or analytics-for-sale business model of any kind.

1. Account information

When you sign up, we store your email address and a securely hashed password. We never see or store your password in plain text.

2. Your activity in the app

Caza shows a map of business locations sourced from public records and public listings. Basic actions you take in the app, like marking a place visited, are saved to your account so they're there the next time you open it.

3. Location data

The mobile app uses your device's location, with your permission, to show your position on the map. This happens live, on your device - we do not log, store, or transmit a history of your location.

4. AI summaries and photos

Some prospects have an AI-generated summary or a photo attached. These are generated from public information about the business, cached so they load quickly, and are never derived from your personal or account data.

5. What we don't do

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and its data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and personal data deleted, contact us and we'll remove it.

7. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to your own account.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Caza after a change means you accept the updated policy.
